Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe MURDER Terhadap Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Peserta Didik Sekolah Dasar

Latar belakang masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe MURDER terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasy eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Rajabasa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 102 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Sampel penelitian pada kelas eksperimen adalah IV A berjumlah 26, sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah IV B berjumlah 26. Pada uji Independent Sampel T Test untuk hasil pretest diperoleh sig (2-tailed) 0,381 > 0,05 sehingga tidak ada perbedaan kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik. Selanjutnya, pada hasil posttest diperoleh sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga ada perbedaan kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik. Hasil N-Gain skor pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,5284 termasuk dalam kriteria sedang dan N-Gain persen 52,84% dengan tafsiran kurang efektif. Sedangkan, N-Gain skor pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,7907 termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi dan persen N-Gain 79,07% dengan tafsiran efektif. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe MURDER efektif terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik sekolah dasar.
