Welcome to this September issue, a space for critical reflection on the dynamics of law in Indonesia. In the context of increasingly complex social and political developments, the law is constantly required to adapt, offer solutions, and uphold justice.

 

This edition presents ten in-depth studies that collectively examine a range of contemporary legal issues. We invite readers to explore crucial analyses, from the protection of workers' rights related to the prohibition on withholding diplomas and efforts to prevent divorce through pre-divorce counseling institutions, to the challenges of sexual violence criminal law reform that prioritizes justice for victims.

 

Furthermore, these articles highlight complexities in the fields of medicine (therapeutic contracts), land (legalization of transmigration land), and electoral politics (replacing regional head candidates). This journal also examines in-depth the dual oversight of Savings and Loan Cooperatives (KSP), the position of Millennial Guardians in Islamic family law, the political fragmentation of party repositioning, and the comparative protection of customary rights of indigenous communities.

 

We hope this collection of articles will enrich scholarly discourse, spark constructive discussion, and make a tangible contribution to the development of legal science and the upholding of justice in Indonesia.
