Mekanisme Kerja Antarkelompok Terpadu: Eksplorasi Dampak Pembelajaran Bahasa Dialogis dan Pembentukan Karakter

Pendidikan di Indonesia semakin menekankan pada penguasaan kompetensi dan pembentukan karakter. Pendekatan pembelajaran bahasa yang konvensional terfokus pada aspek kebahasaan dan kurang menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis mekanisme kerja model pembelajaran bahasa secara dialogis yang terintegrasi dalam kegiatan antarkelompok terpadu, serta dampaknya terhadap penguatan karakter mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran dengan data kuantitatif dari kuesioner terhadap 32 mahasiswa yang dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM untuk menguji efek mediasi, serta data kualitatif dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen yang dianalisis secara tematik interaktif. Analisis dilakukan secara per kelompok dan lintas kelompok untuk mengintegrasikan temuan kuantitatif dan kualitatif secara komprehensif. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa mekanisme kerja antarkelompok terpadu berfungsi melalui tiga fase utama: (1) Fase Negotiation of Meaning, mahasiswa secara aktif membangun pemahaman bersama; (2) Fase Perspective-Taking, mahasiswa belajar memahami sudut pandang orang lain; dan (3) Fase Value Reflection, nilai-nilai karakter seperti toleransi, empati, dan tanggung jawab muncul dan diperkuat melalui proses dialog. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran bahasa secara dialogis dalam setting antarkelompok terpadu efektif meningkatkan kompetensi komunikatif, tetapi juga merupakan mekanisme yang baik untuk penguatan karakter.
