Abstract

Penerapan deep learning dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan salah satu bentuk upaya yang dilakukan guru agar siswa dapat mempelajari matematika secara mendalam dengan situasi yang menyenangkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengalaman guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan deep learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tiga orang guru matematika yang mengajar kelas 10 di Homeschooling Primagama (HSPG) Bekasi melalui google form. Google form bertujuan untuk menggali lebih dalam tentang pengalaman guru menerapkan pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan deep learning. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Bogdan & Biklen dengan tahapan: reduksi data, koding, menentukan tema, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman guru dalam memahami pendekatan Deep Learning sebagai suatu pendekatan dengan menerapkan pemahaman konsep mendalam melalui proses pembelajaran yang berkesadaran, bermakna secara kontekstual, dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Penerapan strategi ini sangat krusial bagi generasi sekarang untuk memberikan kesempatan belajar yang setara, mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta mengimbangi perkembangan zaman yang cepat. Namun, implementasinya di kelas masih menghadapi tantangan besar berupa keberagaman kemampuan siswa, keterbatasan waktu, dan tuntutan kurikulum yang tinggi.
