Pemberdayaan Penyandang Disabilitas dalam Mewujudkan Kemandirian Ekonomi Melalui Usaha Budidaya Anggrek di Kota Blitar

Blitar City, as a region that prioritizes social inclusion, is also striving to create a welcoming environment for people with disabilities. However, the challenge of providing appropriate and sustainable economic opportunities remains to be overcome. One potential area for development is the agribusiness sector, particularly orchid cultivation, which has high economic value, does not require extensive land, and can be practiced with skills learned through intensive training. Orchid cultivation also allows for flexible work, adapting to the physical conditions of various disabilities. An orchid cultivation-based empowerment program for people with disabilities in Blitar City is expected to create new business opportunities, increase income, and foster self-confidence and independence. Through technical training, business management mentoring, and marketing support, people with disabilities are not only trained to master aspects of plant cultivation but also guided to manage their businesses professionally and sustainably
