IMPLEMENTASI KEPEMIMPINAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU MADRASAH
Abstract
Leadership is an important force in the context of organizational management, as well as in the world of education it is very important when visionary leadership strategies can be implemented and run well and with quality. Therefore, the ability to lead effectively is the key to success in leading a school. This research is a type of library research, namely research whose object of study uses library data in the form of books as a data source and also various research articles and journals. From the research, it can be concluded that the principal must have the character of an agent of change, where the principal is the central point for realizing the vision and mission of the school with the various increasingly complex demands of the times. Commitment, consistency, cooperation and competence are very basic things that must always be maintained and implemented continuously. With this, it is hoped that there will be no internal problems that arise due to debate over issues that have been decided together. Apart from that, it is to increase mutual trust so that it is always maintained for the running of the school system in harmony. Leaders must also have the ability to understand the psychology of their subordinate teachers, and be able to communicate well, and be able to solve existing problems as quickly as possible, and make appropriate and high-quality decisions. Innovate to always improve the quality of schools with various ways and methods so that various changes will soon be realized in order to face globalization which will become increasingly visible in the future.
Kepemimpinan merupakan suatu kekuatan yang penting dalam konteks manajemen organisasi, begitu pula dalam dunia pendidikan menjadi sangat penting apabila strategi kepemimpinan visioner dapat dilaksanakan dan dijalankan dengan baik dan berkualitas. Oleh karena itu, kemampuan memimpin secara efektif merupakan kunci keberhasilan dalam memimpin suatu sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan yaitu penelitian yang objek kajiannya menggunakan data pustaka berupa buku-buku sebagai sumber datanya dan juga berbagai artikel penelitian dan jurnal. Dari penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemimpin madrasah harus mempunyai karakter sebagai agen perubahan, dimana pemimpin madrasah merupakan titik sentral untuk mewujudkan visi dan misi sekolah dengan berbagai tuntutan zaman yang semakin kompleks. Komitmen, konsistensi, kerjasama dan kompetensi merupakan hal yang sangat mendasar yang harus selalu dijaga dan dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan. Dengan demikian diharapkan tidak ada permasalahan internal yang muncul akibat perdebatan masalah yang telah diputuskan bersama. Selain itu juga untuk meningkatkan rasa saling percaya agar selalu terpelihara demi berjalannya sistem sekolah secara harmonis. Pemimpin juga harus mempunyai kemampuan memahami psikologi guru bawahannya, mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik, mampu memecahkan permasalahan yang ada secepat mungkin, serta mengambil keputusan yang tepat dan berkualitas. Berinovasi untuk selalu meningkatkan mutu sekolah dengan berbagai cara dan metode agar berbagai perubahan segera terwujud guna menghadapi globalisasi yang semakin nyata di masa depan.
