The performative use of avatars in social media has become increasingly prominent in digital content creation. This study aims to analyze the construction of digital identity on the @kinnyichi account in Roblox content. A qualitative descriptive method was employed using digital observation of posts, avatar visuals, and audience interactions. Data were analyzed through Roland Barthes’ semiotic approach to uncover the meaning of identity representation. The findings reveal that @kinnyichi reconstructs a childlike persona through a combination of avatar visuals, language style, narrative flow, and voice. This identity construction is reinforced by consistent audience responses that provide social validation through comments. The interaction between creator and audience plays a crucial role in maintaining the stability of the presented identity. Therefore, digital identity is not singular but emerges from an ongoing performative and co-constructed process between creator and audience in social media.
