Abstract
Bangunan yang didesain untuk menahan tekanan lateral (horizontal) tanah disebut bangunan dinding penahan tanah. Biasanya bangunan dinding penahan dibuat ketika terjadi perubahan dalam elevasi tanah yang melampaui sudut at-rest dalam tanah.
