Kemampuan Mengolah Bahan Bacaan pada Penyusunan Proposal Skripsi Mahasiswa
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan mengolah bacaan melalui ketrampilan membaca kritis dan menulis kritis mahasiswa dalam penyusunan proposal skripsi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini merupakan proposal skripsi yang dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa tingkat akhir D4 yang berjumlah 40 mahasiswa. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir D4 Program Studi Elektronika Politeknik Negeri Malang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. yaitu mengumpulkan proposal skripsi mahasiswa tingkat akhir D4 untuk mengetahui kemampuan mengolah bahan bacaan bagi mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu pedoman membaca kritis dan keterampilan menulis kritis. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan Pertama, kemampuan membaca kritis mahasiswa yang menonjol pada aspek menginterpretasi dengan indikator mengenali sumber bacaan sesuai dengan topik, menemukan informasi faktual, dan menilai kredibilitas informasi atau pendapat. Kemampuan membaca kritis yang perlu diperhatikan lagi yakni ketrampilan menganalisis dengan indikator membandingkan atau mengontraskan ide, konsep atau pernyataan dan mengidentifikasi isu ataumasalah dan menentukan hubung. Kedua, gambaran kemampuan menulis kritis yang menonjol pada keterampilan mensintesis dan yang perlu diperhatikan kemampuan mengevaluasi.
