Model Sosialisasi Pengujian Penyalahgunaan Wewenang dalam Mewujudkan Good Governance di Kota Malang

Abstrak

Seeing the discrepancy between the number of corruption cases by government officials and the number of requests for testing abuse of authority in courts, which have a significant difference, serious attention is needed from various groups. The right to apply for a test of abuse of authority as referred to in Article 21 paragraph (1) of Law Number 30 of 2014 concerning Government Administration, has not been fully utilized by government officials. The purpose of this study is to explain the empirical juridical aspects of the implementation of the right to test abuse of authority by government officials in the Malang City government environment to realize good governance. The approach method in this study is a qualitative analysis approach based on primary data in the form of interviews and observations and secondary data in the form of official documents from the research location, the internet, and applicable regulations. The results of the study show that empirically juridical, the lack of knowledge and understanding of government officials about the existence of the right to test abuse of authority as stated in Article 21 paragraph (1) of the Government Administration Act affects not optimally utilizing legal protection facilities.
