Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
Pembelajaran konvensional menurunkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami suatu pengetahuan, sehingga diperlukan sebuah struktur pembelajaran yang lebih efektif seperti model pembelajaran inkuiri dalam menumbuhkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami suatu pengetahuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif non-equivalent control group dengan melibatkan siswa kelas lima disalah satu sekolah dasar di Sidoarjo. Instrument penelitian menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep. Uji normalitas dan uji-t digunakan untuk mengkaji data. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa meningkat secara signifikan dengan mempertimbangkan antara nilai mean dari kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol (22.94 dan 5.59). Uji t menghasilkan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 yang membuktikan perbedaan perbedaan nilai mean antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran inkuiri memberi pengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa.
