A PILOT PROJECT APPLICATION LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS' ABILITY IN UNDERSTANDING PANCASILA VALUES
Abstract
Permasalahan penelitian adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa Taman Kanak-Kanak dalam memahami nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dengan siklus, menggunakan model Kemis dan Tagart setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahap : 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan kelas, 3) observasi, dan 4) melakukan refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa Taman Kanak-Kanak Bustanul Muta’allimat Blitar Kelas B. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes dan non tes. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis datanya memakai teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan hasil penelitian bahwa guru sudah bisa melaksanakan sintak pembelajaran berbasis pilot project dengan baik. Ada kenaikan dari siklus satu 85% pada siklus dua menjadi 95%, dan pada siklus tiga semakin tinggi yakni 97%. Demikian juga dengan temuan hasil penelitian tentang kemampuan siswa dalam menjalankan sintak pembelajaran pilot project juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan siklus satu 74%, pada siklus dua 82%, dan pada siklus tiga semakin tinggi yakni mencapai 88% . Sementara untuk kemampuan siswa dalam memahami dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai Pancasila juga mengalami peningkatan, siklus satu 64%, pada siklus dua 75%, dan pada siklus tiga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 89%.
