Environmentally friendly reduction to efficiently obtain reduced graphene oxide (RGO) sheets using organic materials. Bioinspired surface oxidative stress reduction of graphene oxide, reduced using Sauropus androgynus (SA) Leaf leaf extract. Biorenewable reducing substances that contain natural anti-oxidant molecules so that the prepared RGO becomes more energetic. The characterization of the synthesized graphene oxide was analyzed using FT-IR, UV-vis spectroscopy studies and DFT analysis. A reduction application of unsaturated GO is prepared, using aqueous media. It is evident from the FT-IR data, it shows a maximum reduction efficiency of around 83.3%. Partially reduced graphene oxide sheets were obtained using 200 ml of SA extract and 5 mg of GO. Density Functional Theory (DFT) analysis showed a sign that could increase current density and decrease charge transfer resistance for the RGO-SA200 sample. The enhanced surface area is associated with phi-phi interactions and strong electrostatic attraction correlated with the ability to attract molecules with strong positive dipole partials such as water. The strategy succeeded in obtaining graphene which can then be applied.
