The sampling method used is using purposive random sampling method. The tests used in the study were testing the water content and crude protein content. The test was carried out in the animal feed laboratory of Blitar District. The data analysis used to draw conclusions was descriptive. The results showed that the feed used by layer breeders in Srengat sub-district, Blitar district was in accordance with Indonesian national standards, which was 60%.
Lina Permanasari, Alfan Setya Winurdana, Risma Novela Esti Copyright (c) 2023 AVES: Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/2903 Wed, 28 Jun 2023 06:49:20 +0000 NGARUH PENAMBAHAN TEPUNG DAUN JAMBU BIJI DAN ARANG AKTIF PADA RANSUM PUYUH PETELUR (Coturnix coturnix japonica) TERHADAP KONDISI KESEHATAN MASA PUNCAK PRODUKSI https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/2904
This study aims to determine the addition of guava leaf meal (JB) and activated charcoal (AA) to laying quail rations on health conditions during peak production. The material used was 240 female quails aged 90 days using the experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) 4 treatments 6 replicates, at P0 using 100% control feed, P1 (100% control feed + 0.5% JB + 0.5% AA), P2 (100% control feed + 0.5% JB + 1% AA), P3 (100% control feed + 1% JB + 0.5% AA). The variables observed were changes in body weight, mortality, excreta water content, percentage of eggshell abnormalities. This study showed that the combination of JB and AA in quail rations had no significant effect (P<0.5) on changes in body weight with the highest value at P3 (12.08 grams), mortality with the highest average at P2 (2.00% ), eggshell abnormalities with the highest average at P0 (1.20%). Significantly affected the quality of excreta water content at week 4 at P3 (43.62%) and week 6 at P3 (43.43%). The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant effect on excreta water content and no significant effect on PBB, mortality, eggshell abnormalities.
Laksono Yusak Dinun Copyright (c) 2023 AVES: Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/2904 Wed, 28 Jun 2023 07:02:55 +0000 PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN TEPUNG DAUN JAMBU BIJI DAN ARANG AKTIF PADA RANSUM PUYUH PETELUR (Coturnix coturnix japonica) TERHADAP PRODUKTIFITAS MASA PUNCAK PRODUKSI https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/2905
This study aims to determine the effect of adding guava leaf flour and activated charcoal to laying quail rations on productivity during peak production. The method used was experimental with a factorial complete randomized design, consisting of 4 treatments and repeated 6 times, treatment variations of two factors guava leaf flour (JB) and activated charcoal (AA) namely, P0 (100% control feed), P1 ( P0 + 0.5% JB + 0.5% AA), P2 (P0 + 0.5% JB + 1.0% AA), P3 (P0 +1.0% JB + 0.5% AA). The material used was 240 laying quails aged 90 days. Variables observed included feed consumption, egg production and FCR. The results of this study showed that the addition of guava leaf flour and activated charcoal to laying quail rations during peak production had no significant effect (P<0.05) on feed consumption with the lowest number at P0, namely 25.01 gram/head/day, egg production the highest was at P1 which was 92.36% and the lowest FCR was at P1 which was 2.47. The conclusion of the addition of guava leaf meal and activated charcoal to laying quail rations on peak production productivity had no significant effect on feed consumption, egg production and FCR.
Intan Dwi Rahayu Copyright (c) 2023 AVES: Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/2905 Wed, 28 Jun 2023 07:20:47 +0000 PENGARUH SUBTITUSI TEPUNG Azolla microphylla DAN LIMBAH TEPUNG SISA PENGGORENGAN TERHADAP KECERNAAN BAHAN KERING DAN BAHAN ORGANIK ITIK PEDAGING https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/2906
The objective of this research was know to the effect and optimize level of azolla microphylla used in ration on dry and organic matter digestibility for meat duck. This research use 100 meat duck aged 4 days, randomly divided into 5 treatment combinations Completely Randomized Design (CRD) wich divided into five treatment and treatment each (P0, P1, P2, P3,P4) consist of four replication. Each replication used 5 meat ducks.

The result of this research in each treatment (P0,P1,P2,P3,P4) on the largest dry matter intake at P0 3523,38, lowest at P4 2998,36 g/head/period. The largest organic matter intake at P0 3257,65, the lowest at P4 2704,14 g/head/period. The largest dry matter digestibility in P2 81,66%, lowest at 79,19% and the largest organic matter digestibility at P3 95,23%, lowest at P0 93,15%. The conclusion in addition of Azolla microphylla affected dry matter consumption, organic matter consumption, and dry matter digestibility, but had no effect on organic matter digestibility.
Alwi Sihab, Nita Opi Ari kustanti, Alfan Setya Winurdana Copyright (c) 2023 AVES: Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/2906 Wed, 28 Jun 2023 07:34:11 +0000 PEMANFAATAN TEPUNG DAUN MENGKUDU (Morinda citrifolia) TERHADAP KUALITAS TELUR BURUNG PUYUH https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/2907
The experiment was conducted to determine influence of additing noni leaf flour on the quality of quail eggs. The materials used were 300 quail eggs 44 weeks old. The experiment used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments (0%, 1%, 2% and 3% of noni leaf flour in feed) and 5 replications. Parameters observed were haugh unit and egg shell thickness. The data were analysed using analysis of variance and continued with honest real difference test. The result showed that the addition of noni leaf flour in the feed ration had a significant effect (P>0,01) on the haugh unit and egg shell thickness. The conclusion of this experiment was the addition of noni leaf flour in feed ration had a significant effect on the quality of quail eggs. The P2 treatment (addition of 2% noni leaf flour) in quail feed showed the best results on egg quality that is haugh unit and egg shell thickness.
Vivin Aminatu Solichah Copyright (c) 2023 AVES: Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/2907 Wed, 28 Jun 2023 07:44:02 +0000
