BHUMI NARARYA FARM, KECAMATAN TURI KABUPATEN SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/3474 <p>The purpose of this research was to determine heritability and breeding values of the weaning weight of sapera goats at CV. Bhumi Nararya Farm, Turi District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The samples used were data from 5 males, 70 females, and 32 young sapera goats. The method used in this study is a survey. The data taken are primary and secondary data. The results of the study for the estimation of the heritability value of the weaning weight of sapera goats were 0.24 ±&nbsp;0.25, and the highest breeding value was 15,253. The conclusion from the research that has been done at CV. Bhumi Nararya Farm on sapera goats is that the heritability value of weaning weight belonging to the medium category, with a value of 0.24 ± 0.25, can be used as a selection tool, provided the selection program is carried out strictly and continuously, to improve the genetic quality of livestock in an effort to increase goat productivity. The highest breeding value from the estimated heritability value of the weaning weight of Sapera goats in CV. Bhumi Nararya Farm is 15.253.</p> Mita Putri Astuti Astuti, Resti Yuliana Rahmawati, Alfan Setya Winurdana Copyright (c) 2023 AVES: Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/3474 Wed, 31 Jan 2024 14:39:32 +0000 UJI ORGANOLEPTIK PUPUK KOMPOS DARI KOTORAN SAPI DENGAN PENAMBAHAN DAUN LAMTORO DAN SEKAM https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/3475 <p>The purpose of this research is to find out about making compost from cow dung with the addition of lamtoro leaves and husks. The research method used is using a questionnaire involving 40 people as panelists who will see the quality of the compost based on texture, smell and color. compost. With 3 repetitions for each treatment. Based on the research results, the best treatment in this study was P3 with the addition of 50% lamtoro leaves and 50% husks. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended for further research that the husks used are burned briefly first so that the husks become smooth and the composting process can be optimal with fine husk conditions.</p> Muchammad khoirul anam, Risma Novela Esti, Agustina widyasworo Copyright (c) 2023 AVES: Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/3475 Thu, 01 Feb 2024 04:22:40 +0000 PENGARUH KEPADATAN BATERAI TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS AYAM PETELUR DALAM KANDANG CLOSED HOUSE https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/3600 <p>This study set out to ascertain how variations in battery density affected the body weight and egg weight of layer phase laying hens housed in closed house cages. The study ran from November 2022 through January 2023. Twelve batteries, or 180 hens, were employed in each sample for each variable. The battery that is being utilized measures 60 by 65 cm. Egg weight and body weight are the factors used. Purposive sampling is the approach utilized for data collecting; an experimental T test is used to identify differences, and a correlation test determines the strength of the association. The study's significance value is (p˃0,05), indicating that there is no significant difference in the body weight and egg weight of the eight hens in the battery compared to the density of the battery with seven chickens. It is nevertheless possible to house chickens in cages of varying densities because there is a weak link between body weight and egg weight.</p> Dewi Sasvia Candra, Nita Opi Ari kustanti Copyright (c) 2023 AVES: Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/3600 Fri, 24 May 2024 00:00:00 +0000 EVALUASI REPRODUKSI SAPI FRIESIAN HOLSTEIN PADA BERBAGAI PARITAS https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/3603 <p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The purpose.of this research is to evaluate the.reproduction of Holstein Friesian cows at various parities. The study was conducted at PT Greenfields Indonesia.Farm 2 located in Pijiombo.Hamlet, Ngadirenggo.Village, Wlingi District, Blitar. The research material used was 327 Holstein Friesian cows at parities two, three, and four, with an estimated 109 cows per parity. The variables used in the evaluation were services.per conception (S/C), conception.rate (CR), days.open (DO), and calving.interval (CI). The method used in this research was a field study using secondary data. The collected data underwent analysis through analysis of variance (ANOVA), and in case of a significant effect, Duncan's multiple range test (DMRT) was applied for further examination. The results showed.that the higher the parity of the milking cows, the lower the reproductive evaluation results (P&lt;0.05). Parity II had the most ideal reproductive results with a.service per conception value of 1,64±0.84a times, conception rate of 55,96%, days open of 88,01±27,56a days, and calving interval of 365,71±28,38a days compared to parities III and IV which showed lower results with service per conception values of 1,95±1,17b times; 2,15±1,24b times, conception rates of 50,45%; 42,2%, days open of 99,55±39,20b days; 104,83±40,89b days, and calving intervals of 378,16±39,26b days; 383,88±40,81b days This research concludes that the higher.the parity, the lower.the reproductive evaluation results, including service per.conception (S/C), conception rate (CR), days.open (DO), and calving.interval (CI).</strong></p> Sutrisno Hadi, Nita Opi Ari Kustanti, Risma Novela Esti Copyright (c) 2023 AVES: Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/3603 Fri, 24 May 2024 23:17:36 +0000 PERBEDAAN AREA DALAM KANDANG CLOSED HOUSE TERHADAP PERFORMA AYAM PETELUR FASE GROWER https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/3254 <p><strong>This study sought to ascertain how the body weight and uniformity of laying hens in the growth phase were affected by various regions in closed house cages. 480 laying hens that were still in the growth stage served as the study's subject. The uniformity average is 86.91% for the inlet area and 85.16% for the outlet area. In this study, it is necessary to carry out further research by including the calculation of the Heat Stress Index as an additional discussion to examine more deeply the effect of increasing body weight and uniformity.</strong></p> Hyogi Diantoro Copyright (c) 2023 AVES: Jurnal Ilmu Peternakan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.unisbablitar.ac.id/index.php/aves/article/view/3254 Sat, 25 May 2024 08:26:21 +0000
